Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Alrama app and our print-on-demand production and fulfillment service, and apply to business users (resellers) operating a store connected to Alrama. They do not apply to consumers purchasing from a reseller's store — those purchases are governed by that reseller's own store terms.
1. General information
Alrama is a web application that connects to your Shopify store account. No separate registration outside of creating an Alrama account is required to use it.
2. Maintenance and support
We are not obligated to release updates to the app, but we make reasonable efforts to keep it current, secure, and compatible with the Shopify platform.
3. Intellectual property and trademarks
Alrama owns, or has properly licensed, all proprietary content, software, and trademarks within the app, excluding designs and content you upload yourself.
4. Usage rights
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose — designing, listing, and fulfilling print-on-demand products through your connected store. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app itself.
5. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. On termination, your right to use the app ends; any orders already in production will still be fulfilled and shipped unless both parties agree otherwise.
6. Warranty and liability
Except as required by applicable law, our liability is limited to cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where such limitation is not permitted by law.
7. Contract formation and language
A contract for a specific order is formed when a customer's order is submitted through your connected Shopify store and accepted by our system. These terms are provided in English and German; in case of conflict between translations, the version in the language you selected when creating your account governs.
8. Our obligations
We maintain the blank-product catalog and print methods available through the app, produce and quality-check ordered items, and package and ship them under your brand (neutral packaging, no Alrama branding on the outside of the parcel or on any packing slip visible to your customer).
9. Delivery
We ship using third-party carriers. Risk of loss passes to the carrier upon handover. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed; we are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.
10. Payment
Customer payments for orders are processed through your Shopify store's own payment provider (e.g. Shopify Payments). Our production and shipping fees are settled separately, per the pricing and billing arrangement on your account.
11. No right of withdrawal for personalized goods
Because every product is manufactured to order with the customer's specific design, standard consumer withdrawal rights for made-to-order/personalized goods do not apply, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Transport damage
Any damage occurring in transit must be reported to us and the carrier as soon as reasonably possible, and in any case within the timeframe required for a valid carrier claim, so we can pursue a claim and arrange a replacement where appropriate.
13. Intellectual property in uploaded designs
Any design, artwork, or text you or your customers upload remains your property. We claim no ownership over it and use it solely to produce the ordered item. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use and reproduce any design you upload.
14. Pricing
Production and shipping prices shown in the app are net amounts, exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
15. Governing law and severability
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by one that most closely reflects its intended purpose.
