Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Alrama ("we", "us") collects when you use our print-on-demand platform, our storefront, and the design tools available on it, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Server log files

When you visit our website, our servers automatically record information your browser sends us: your (anonymized) IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This data is used only to operate the site reliably, diagnose technical problems, and protect against abuse — it is not combined with other personal data to identify you individually.

Account data

Creating an account with us (as a reseller signing up to sell print-on-demand products, or as a customer of a reseller's store) requires an email address and a password. We also store your account type (reseller or store staff), the store(s) you're associated with, and any branding details (store name, color, logo) you provide.

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (bcrypt) — we cannot see or recover your actual password, only verify a login attempt against the stored hash.

Order and design data

When a customer places an order through a reseller's Shopify store, we receive the order details necessary to fulfill it: the items ordered, sizes/colors/quantities, the shipping address, and the design(s) to be printed (including any images or text the customer or reseller uploaded). We also store the design files created in our design editor, associated with the reseller account that created them.

This data is used exclusively to produce, quality-check, package, and ship the ordered products, and to provide order-status information back to the reseller and their customer.

Sharing data with shipping carriers

To deliver physical orders, we share the recipient's name, shipping address, and (where provided) email address with shipping carriers and our shipping-aggregator provider, solely so they can deliver the package and provide tracking updates.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (a short-lived access token and a longer-lived refresh token) and to remember basic session state (such as items in your cart before checkout). These cookies are essential for the site to function and cannot be disabled through our own settings — you can still block or delete them via your browser, though parts of the site (like staying logged in) will stop working correctly if you do.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly before any such cookies are set.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and order/design data for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, handle returns, and comply with applicable tax and commercial record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion of your account at any time, subject to those legal retention requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
  • Request a portable copy of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority
